Northwest Pianist, Teacher
I grew up in Havre, Montana, playing the piano for churches and the high school.
I then then moved to Abilene, Texas to pursue my Bachelor’s in Piano Performance at Abilene Christian University. I studied under the late Pauline Kung Bjorem and performed in masterclasses for Mario Santoso, Ronald Rathbun, and the Van Cliburn crystal winner Sean Chen. I performed with choirs under the direction of Sean Pullen, Paul Piersall, Jeff Goolsby, and was rehearsal accompanist for Maestro Itkin, Dr. David Wallis, and Dr. Clell Wright.
In 2015, I moved to Eugene, Oregon to pursue my Masters in Piano Pedagogy and studied under Dean Kramer and Claire Wachter. I graduated in 2017 and continued my career in teaching.
My private lesson instruction style is engaging, maybe even fun, and will push the student to their potential.
Music has always been an important and rewarding part of my life, and I hope to share that with my community
